Vaidhei’s journey started during pandemic times when she and her team started donating sanitary pads to rural and tribal villages all over India. There she realized that a lot of awareness around periods and product knowledge is needed which was missing and it motivated her to become a Menstrual Educator. She immediately signed up for Master class on Menstrual Education by Aditi Gupta which proved to be an enriching experience. It gave her a lot of clarity on the subject of menstruation and helped her create a structured curriculum.

Being a Chartered Accountant and coming from a Commerce background did not stop her from creating awareness around menstruation. Talking and advocating this subject gave her immense satisfaction and a lot of love from the women and girls whom she trained online and offline. Vaidhei along with her team started Project Laadli initiative. Her goal is to create more such Laadli Educators who shall conduct awareness drives and spread knowledge around the subject of menstrual health and hygiene!

The Project Laadli awareness sessions intends to give information with proper demonstration and is remolded as per the local ideology and culture and we focus more on sustainable and eco friendly menstruation with usage of products like reusable cloth pads , menstrual cups.
