For the last 5 years, Twisha has been working as a Menstrual Educator and has educated thousands of people about Menstruation.

She launched her organization called 'We MenstruAct.' She aims to create a world where something this common & natural such as periods doesn't force people to hide. She thrives to eliminate the stigmas around menstruation.

If we google 'Menstruation synonyms', one of the answers we get is 'THE CURSE'. She wants to work on this issue till the answer changes to 'THE BLESSING.'

She dreams of a world where no girl has to miss her five days of schooling every month just because of a supernatural, biologically designed bodily process. She thrives to build a community where Menstruation is no more called an ISSUE.

She also started an initiative called Kamakhya- The Period Bank, under which, she provides menstrual hygiene products to underprivileged menstruators and make them aware of their menstrual hygiene management.

In this journey so far, she has learnt that the best lesson of advocacy is to use our privilege to uplift the lives of underprivileged ones. During the toughest times, the only thing that keeps her moving is the never-ending love and support from her audience. This is her way of giving back to society. Her journey as a Menstrual Educator is thrilling, empowering and satisfying
